Tulip

At Tulips, two recently refurbished double bedrooms with en suite tiled bathrooms are available. The furniture is light coloured and contemporary, and includes a sofa bed in one of the bedrooms. The communal room serves as a living/breakfast room, featuring sofas, television and dining area. You will be able to prepare your own continental breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen corner with the ingredients supplied on your arrival. As at Hildas, every room has stunning views across the sea and the sunset or the mature garden with bluebells, colourful rhododendrons and lawns.

Accommodation is available from 23rd of May 2008, Friday evenings to Sunday afternoons. Price per room: £100 for the first night, £80 for the second night.

Adjacent to the bedrooms, the pullmanesque railway carriage Tulip is being restored into a unique living space. Tulip’s new owner takes great care to recover the original craftsmanship and revive all the authentic features and details, which in the 19th century made her the luxury railway carriage of the royal families. Tulip in her newly restored splendour will be available for bookings from mid June. Bookings and enquiries are welcome in advance.

Restoration work on Tulip will be suspended during your stay so that you can enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday on Selsey’s seafront.
